Uhm. I mean. So. Luke and Lorelai. Had sex. And. I think. I. Don't know. What to say. Well. Okay.

WHAT! Wait. Okay. First of all! Let's just start at the beginning. That's a good place. To start. The beginning is where you start. In the diner! Luke had to flirt inconspicuously, aw! And Lorelai's a goofy freak and i love her. When Luke nodded her over to the counter (hee!) i ALMOST thought he was signaling her to meet him in the back for a quickie. But... that's just me. Hot plates!

And the date! Leaving for the date, the awkwardness! I like it when they're awkward, it's so endearing. I laaaaughed and laughed when Lorelai called the restaurant the Prancing Pony. AWESOME. Mrs. Landingham! Luke was so CUTE! And there was more awkwardness! And Luke hates champagne, i SO called that as soon as they mentioned it, SO. And. And. HOW THEY FIRST MET. Do you know how much i've thought about that? Them knowing each other before the series? A LOT, i can tell you. And that was perfect. Lorelai was annoying and Luke was annoyed and, yep, that's them. The horoscope! In his wallet! EIGHT YEARS! EIGHT YEARS!! I mean... dude. It was possibly the sweetest thing in the WORLD, and it actually makes me sad. Because he waited so, so long. Luuuuuuuuuuke!

And. Okay. Well. HeyguesswhatLukeandLorelaihadsex. SEX. Please, let that sink in for a moment. ... SEX. Now, i know i'm spoiled by Alias and Without a Trace and all, and GG is a "family" show but... but... they didn't SHOW ANYTHING! (well. i mean. hold on a sec.) I just... they didn't even have to show anything, but it's the no kiss beforehand that's upsetting. They hadn't kissed since the season finale, and then they had SEX! That's all i'm complaining about. No, that's all! The rest was perfect, i swear it! I. JUST. WANTED. MORE. But. Anyway. Aside from my greediness! LUKEANDLORELAIHADSEX!! And! And! NAKEDNESS! (omfg tattoo wtf akjgdfkagfagh) And the big bed! And the kissing! And the pretty new-ness! And the best, nono, the BEST, was the morning. Because. Of the cuddling. When they got woken up, and Luke's arm around Lorelai's head and the CLOSEness and the CHEST-KISSING AND OHMYGOD NAKED LUKE NAKED LUKE NAKED LUKE. I mean. Uhm. Hey! I like stuff. AND. It was sunshiney! Sunshiney shippiness, it might just be the best kind. And Lorelai stole all the pillows! And then the groggy mumbly talking (socute) and, of course, Lorelai going downstairs. IN THE FLANNEL. Yes, my friends, my dreams have been fulfilled. All is right with the world, i can breathe easy for the rest of my days, LIFE IS WORTH LIVING. Ahh, the flannel. And she didn't know the diner could open without Luke and he wanted to know why she was wearing his shirt and she still didn't get her coffee and HEYGUESSWHATTHEYHADSEX! And the panicked talking about the town finding out was just hilarious, man. And Luke went to get her coffeeeeeeeee! Best. Caffeine-dependent. Relationship. Ever.

And going to the town meeting! Okay, when Lorelai was on the phone with Emily, and Luke was tugging on her coat and giving her meaningful looks? AKHGSDJHFGJKAH THE ADORABLENESS MY EYES MY EYES. And the meeting! The hilarity! Luke and Lorelai's righteous indignation! CHARTS! And Luke yelling at Taylor just like always but this time it was in protection of his relationship with Lorelai and that just makes it all the greater. And! He's banking his entire future in the town on ending up with Lorelai. Luke. Who has lived in Stars Hollow his whole life. Will close the diner and leave if he and Lorelai break up. I think it's love. (but isn't it also really depressing if you think about it? That Luke believes it that strongly? And the idea of him leaving Stars Hollow forever?)

Is that all the LukeandLorelai stuff? I think that's all. Close to it. Not really, i probably left out... them actually having sex, or something. My tape skipped it. Whoops! Of course, i'll have to, uhm, go back and memorize it and stuff because of all the little things, but yeah. Whew.

And, in my second favorite news of the episode- MARTY!! MARTYMARTYMARTY!!!@!#*&%!*&$)!(*&$^T( No, you don't even know how happy i was. You don't. I was so sad last season because i had resigned myself to the idea that we would never see Marty again. Because they just dropped him! He was there for a good amount of episodes, and then he was GONE and it SUCKED because i love Marty. But now he's back! And he was in a ton of the episode! And he hugged Rory! And he gets taunted which makes him even cuddlier! And he wanted to know if Rory had a boyfriend because he loves her! And he is just! so! cute! Aww. Marty. Rory is dumb for going back to Dean. Marty is obviously the BEST. But whatever, he can be my boyfriend instead. Sucks for you, RORY!

And finally, more Paris! I hated the Asher storyline, but "This great man was not brought down by my vagina." was the best line of the night.

So! I guess that's it. Uhm. (NAKED LUKE NAKED LUKE NAKED LUKE!!!) So yeah. I had kind of figured that the sex would happen tonight (the flannel-wearing, come on!), and then DEFINITELY knew when i came home from class (i tell you, it's TORTURE having to tape the episode and watch it later. At least Scrubs wasn't on, so i could watch it immediately at 9). But yeah, soon as i walked in the door at 8:40, my roommate was sitting in front of the tv all "Mariiiiiinaa, guess whaaaaaaaat" and for a second i didn't know and so i said "what?" and then it immediately registered that she was sitting in front of the tv and what she was watching so i screamed "AAHHHHH!! LALALALALALALALALALA" and averted my eyes and covered my ears and ran upstairs and shut myself in my room. And then i was like "SHIT! SHIT! I KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING! SHIT!" and was antsy as fuck until 9:00. TORTURE.

Hey! LukeandLorelaihadsex. I... don't think that's really registering. Oh boy, here we go again!

ETA! I had a dream last night that most of the population of Stars Hollow was stranded on an island. The cause of this is inexplicable. But anyway, after they all got stranded, Luke and Lorelai went back to Stars Hollow (they, like, walked) to get tools so they could work on shelter and stuff. And then they went back to the island. And i actually thought in the dream "well, that's fuckin' stupid", but Luke was gathering tools (ha! TOOLS) and Lorelai was babbling at him and it was cute. The end!
