AHHH!! That episode definitely fucking ROCKED. Soooo much great stuff. Last week's was pretty okay, but this one was waaay better. Obviously, spoilers for "Succession" ahead.

-Syd! And! Weiss!! Heeeee! Sooo cute, and happy, and cute. Awww. NEIGHBORS! They need to have barbecues and parties and such. Yes. It's so weird Syd will be living in a different place. I miss the old apartment. It was pretty. :( (i think it's kind of interesting that Syd was moving in the second episode of season one, and now she's moving again in the second episode of season 3. Weird? Hm.) And i so loved Weiss telling her that Vaughn was definitely not okay after she died. Aw. *sniff* And WILL! Is in witness protection! Noooooo I NEED TO SEE HIM NOW. Pleeeeease. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY.

-Teacher!Vaughn! Hey! He's a teacher! Oh, and, uh, French, too. Yeah, that wasn't too bad. ;) But dude, that scene? Tore my heart out. It was soooo good. I'm so damn happy that Vaughn got to explain himself, and GAH! He talked to Syd when she was gone, and he drank, and that is some Damn Fine Angst right there. Just... yeah. Probably spawned a million and one fanfics, too. I absolutely loved it. As for Vaughn not regretting moving on- he shouldn't. Not because he doesn't love Syd anymore (he does! HE DOES!), but from what he said he would have completely self-destructed, so he really shouldn't regret getting himself out of that. It's just a really unfortunate thing for this situation that Syd ended up coming back. You know, unfortunate in the way that it makes you want to STAB YOURSELF IN THE EYE because of the TERRIBLE SADNESS.

-I love Jack. Saying the Rambaldi "peace" message was anticlimactic, and you could get it from a fortune cookie! Ahh, he's saying what we're all thinking. :D

-Sark. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! GUH. When Syd walked over to the cell, and he was sitting leaned against the wall? GUH. I take back any doubts i had about the hair. The hair is FINE. I have NO PROBLEM with the hair. Because, yeah, he's definitely still hot as ever. He LAUGHED!! Big, grinny laugh! EEEEEE!!! *falls over*

-The trade-off in the desert was SO cool. I love those crazy colors they use, and you know, when i see colors and lighting i like, i need screencaps. It's just how i am. Greedy greedy greedy. Also? Sark is hot.

-Bwah! Syd in the men's room with Lindsey was AWESOME. "Who let YOU in?" Hee! Ah, emasculation. It's always hilarious.

-Aw, Syd and Vaughn are actually civil with each other. That's nice. But why does Jack totally hate Vaughn? I laaaaughed when Jack ignored him, but still, there's gotta be something more to it than Jack just being mad that Vaughn hurt his daughter. I wanna knoooow. And ACK! Sark's DAD! Syd killed his dad! Wow. That's fucked up.

-AHHHHHHH!!!! JACK/IRINA!!!!!!! While the instant messaging thing just seemed goofy to me ("OMG, i TOTALLY didn't say hi to vaughn today! LOL! i made him look sad. :D"), and blah robotvoice!Irina, but... THEY MISS EACH OTHER!!!! Dude. DUDE. I'm still upset that we never got to see them interact any more after A Dark Turn, which is so many shades of wrong, but it's good to know they're on good terms. You know, with the LOVE.

-I adored Syd's disguise. The wig was so kicky, and the glasses and the outfit were very, very cool. She looked absolutely gorgeous the whole time. I love it when it's a good disguise. :)

-Oh, Vaughn's a boy genius! He's been brushing up on his code-breaking skills whilst away teaching french. Of course. Yep. Heh. Ohh, i kid, i kid. *pets smart!Vaughn*

-EEP! THE WIIIIIIIFE!!!! Heh. Heh heh. Syd said all that stuff about Vaughn with her in the room. But man, Syd's reaction was PRICELESS. "... Hi." Ah. Hello triangle, it's good to finally meet you.

Preview for next week kicked ass. Yelling!! I am ALWAYS a fan of the yelling. Wife!kissage! MEEP! Syd/Vaughn mission! (how Vaughn gets back in the field so soon, i don't know. But, uhh... whatever.)

And, yea, i'm still giddy about the S/V kiss we got today. DUDE! It's like, new S/V! Right in the middle of them NOT being together! It just cheers me up so much, with the warm fuzzies. Sigh. Love my kids. Plus it's pretty much the longest kiss EVER, after Phase One. WHEEEEE!

Yoooo, I felt so bad for Syd when Lauren heard what she said. Damn. And she just rubbed it in Syd's face - "In addition, I'm MV's wife". So on purpose. Damn. JJ's so good at creating dramas.

Can't wait to see that "Alright, that's enough!!" Vaughn blowing up. And he never blows up! And Lauren and Vaughn kissing!! Yeah, it's definitely worse than seeing Syd kissing Justin. Much worse. The angst.

Syd's just meeting someone new from the NSC, and then bam! By the way, i'm your ex-boyfriend's wife who you've only TALKED about until now. GAH!

The kiss was shown for like a split-second in the preview for A Free Agent, so i guess it was supposed to be in that ep but it got cut. Apparently it's gonna be in the deleted scenes on the s2 dvds. :D

The footage was just released, apparently it's going to be on the s2 dvds as a deleted scene (HURRAH!!). It was originally in A Free Agent, but it got cut. :( Although, not having seen it until now made it all the sweeter and more exciting, so it's actually kind of good it got cut. :)

And yeah, it's definitely bittersweet. Awwww S/V, but NOOOO, they're not together anymore! *sob* Dammit.

Actually, yes. I don't know about Irina's, but [info]amezri has been posting HILARIOUS conversations with the Jack screenname. Nobody's sure whether it's a writer for the show having some fun, or just some fan who snatched up the screenname... but it is DAMN funny. Hee! I will never be able to watch the IMing scene with a straight face again.

Actually, I'm just speculating. I think Vaughn turned in Jack for contacting Irina, Jack just doesn't want to tell Sydney. I just haven't worked out the details yet.

Ahhhhhhhh!! That's INSANE, cause that could very well be the case. Holy SHIT. But... why would Vaughn turn Jack in for trying to find out what happened to Syd? Unless he didn't know that's what he was doing. Or how would Vaughn even know Jack contacted Irina? Especially if Vaughn was pretty much gone, and not in the CIA anymore? Unless Jack tried to get him in on the investigation, although i'm not sure he would, cause Jack's not Vaughn's biggest fan or anything. Gaaaaaah. Damn Alias, raising so many questions. ;)
